I used Google Doc this year to create a common assessment with the middle school 7th grade Health teachers. It worked amazingly well. We could all work together from our own school and create this Nutrition test together. I like how the editing feature lists the name of the person changing the document. We could write questions and comments to promote discussion.
We use this method in our Physical Education department. The department is able to create tests, study guides, PE goal documents and other items collaboratively. I am a new-comer to Google docs. I have found it to be a time saver (I can edit from wherever and whenever I choose).
